Yes, the kids mentioned are greatly improved but I want to make mention of somebody from left field... no not Jordan Russell although he has improved... Cam Cloke. Thought he had a pretty good year for somebody forced to shoulder the ruck burden for the majority of the year. Plenty of ticker that bloke. Reward him with a two year deal.

And in the battlers department bannister and the Wig should not be forgotten for the impact they have had in the game they have played!!!

Waite has also made consitency his middle name which is a great feat as it had evaded him for the first 5+ years of his career...

Walker has also showed desperation and HUGE promise (looks like it will actually be fulfilled now...)
I'm sure there are more!

Cain Ackland - went from the most heartless ruckman to play AFL and became a goal kicking machine in the VFL.

1. Gibbsy & Jammo would be the most improved this year
Gibbsy- is sensational , i wrote all about him in the "Bryce Gibbs take a bow" so i wont repeat it all, but this kid is a legend. Future Brownlow medallist and captain Stand out game would be- against tigers in the 2nd game this year.

Jamison- wow, Jammo, this kid has improved soooo much, with his shoulder injury and everything, he has persisted with it, Tried over 100 % every week, one of the stand out games for him in my mind would be against collingwood where he was on Paul Medhurst.

Special mentions
Griggy- really stood up this year to cement a spot in the 22.
Bower- wow, he has improved soo much - great game on Buddy round 22.
Cloke- Great marks, great ruck work, great forward option
Wiggins- Great to see him play his 100th , really improved

Browne and Armfield- in their first season- but playing a bit better each week
Kreuzer - hes improving each week

but the first bunch are the BIG improvers

Yeah, that is one game I'd like to see again,
over and over again.
It was great to see we could stand up and win without relying on Juddy to be the leader. The boys stood up, and all became leaders.
that was a great improvement on the past few years
