I moved out about six months ago, after what seemed an eternity living at home. Boarding with a guy about my age, who is a cop. This works out well because he does shift work, and it doesn't conflict with me. It also works out well, because he brings home a lot of pr0n and confiscated alcohol from the station. His rent also helps me pay off my house much quicker than otherwise possible.

27 years IS a long time.

It's all relative, dude.

Living at home has it's advantages. There are pros and cons. Meals are easier, cooking and cleaning was done by other people and the finances were easier. It was also a huge house, and easy to maintain privacy, even with others in the house. And I didn't pay any board. And work was around the corner. So, why move?

Eventually moved because I just felt it was the right time. Havn't had any problems since I moved out. It's been a piece of p*ss actually.

I thought you didn't drink alcohol Green Machine?

I forgot to say...the best piece of advice I've had about living out of home is...if the little things start becoming an issue, it's over.
i.e. don't argue over small things, it's not worth it.
