Its not intended for my age bracket but did watch the first couple of episodes. This might not irk other people but her super power/s are stupid. That kills it for me.

Her superpowers at this stage are silly, but I think it's mostly because she doesn't know what powers she really has and how to use them properly, so when she uses them, it's clumsy and half-assed. I suspect she will get the other bracelet at the end, and then it'll be on like Donkey Kong. They're going for character development here, so to expect her to be a fully formed Avenger by episode three is somewhat impatient of you.

Last two episodes have been outstanding for me. Never thought I would get into this story as much as I have, can attribute that to the quality of the writing and casting for Kamala and her wider family. They've really nailed the character development with this.

What I've particularly been impressed with is the level of cultural depth given to this series. Very very authentic, right down to eating street food like panipuri out of a bag in a random spot whilst chatting with friends/locals. One of my favourite memories of my times in India. Partition, I'm almost embarrassed to say, I never knew the impact of it. Its not something we're taught here really. It was a human tradgedy of an unfathomable scale, the effects still very much present today with that region and the tension/hostility between India and Pakistan etc.

Gut wrenching stuff to think about. The train station scenes just look harrowing. I appreciate how its been depicted and have learned a lot from this series.

Only one episode to go, was hoping there would be more overall (something I find myself saying a lot recently with Disney+ series'). Really enjoyed the flashback to Kamala's great gandparents meeting, I don't know the actors' names however my Indian friends tell me there's some very famous Bollywood/Pakistani actors cast throughout.

Some slight downsides for me. First, the way the powers are shown for Kamala are still odd, just can't quite put my finger on it as to why. A fair bit going on with the colours and the CG just not up to its usual standard. That's a bit of a nitpick though, the Clandestine villains when they appear do take me out of it a bit. They're all over the shop. Been here for a 100 years, then all of a sudden they must return home the very night of Kamala's brother's wedding etc. Just isn't really written that well or explained why.

However its minor overall, because they don't chew up much screentime and thankfully the majority of the episodes are devoted to some real quality character/relationship building between Kamala and her family members.

Overall a 6.5/10 series for me.

Enjoyable enough but pacing was a bit over the shop. Important points rushed and some non essential plot points dragged too much.

Liked the nice riff when Bruno mentioned mutations and they had the small riff from the X-Men cartoon.

Captain Marvel post credit scene was short and expected but still nice.

Nice finale. Sticking the landing has been a bit hit and miss so far in the Disney+ series, however this one was very good. The previous two episodes still the standout for me, overall it rounded off well however.

Mutation. Wow.

The music did a lot of the heavy lifting in the show for me. Enjoyed tuning in just to hear what they'd play next.
Like most have commented the pacing was off but the show was still enjoyable.
Clearly targeted at teens. Feel like I've seen the romance subplot a thousand times already.

The main characters family was very endearing. As was the broader Muslim community.
Characters overall are a strong point of the series.

Marvel still has a problem with their villains not being interesting or established enough.
