Has anyone played multiplayer games like QuakeIII or Half Life on internet game servers via 56k modem? Just wondering if you experience freezing or delays or any of that bad stuff?

. Warcraft is pretty much the same. As for battlefield it uses up alot of downloads and I dont think 56kers would enjoy that game too much

the problem with Starcraft and similar games is maybe it'll only lag for a bit, but it normally happens at the worst possible moment.
Neverwinter Nights has very very little lag over 56K if you play on australian servers.
Basically, if you're playing FPS games over dialup, lag will be a problem unless you're playing on your ISP's own gaming servers.
