For alot of you it would have been the first time you've seen him live since he's come over to the saints, what you think? Has been better than black IMO, great foot skills, will mess up ever now or then, but can forgive. Has he always been that deadly in front of goal? How would he fit in to your much improved midfield this year?

How dumb does that make Spud look? All those years, Spud persisted in making him a back pocket or a leading forward and completely destroyed his confidence.

Anyone could see that he was a natural wingman and so what does Thomas do? Play him on a wing!

Genius!

And now he is playing his natural game and is playing good footy.

good on him, iv always liked fiora, copped way to much crap playing in our dud side under spud. looks to have matured physically a bit over the summer

I also noticed at the ground he didnt get booed by tiges supporters, not good enough tigers!

we can put the blame directly on spud for that waste of a 3rd draft pick. fiora was always class, just coached terribly. im happy for him.

Rapt for him.He was my daughters favourite player and I nearly lost her to the bloody saints! He was sensational to her every time he sees her at training or family day etc.Never played running forward for us and it was the single most frustrating thing about Richmond for me.I promise he will just get better and better now that he actually believes in himself.could be anything. Thanks Danny.

I would never boo the likes of Fiora or Torney or Harrison. They were traded away and in reality, had little choice in the matter. Good on them for doing well at their new clubs.

Ottens and Zantuck on the other hand...

Agree CJH - The only thing with players like Fiora is he will be a good to handy type in a good side but not the type of player to lead or show leadership in a side that is down (US).

Sort of like a Milne - in reverse - I reckon if Milne played for us he would fade into oblivion

He's playing well for you but thats because he is in a good side. If chaffey or tivendale went to you next year you'd been creaming your pants over them as well. Fiora couldn't perform for a struggling team so he shouldn't get too much credit. A true test of a great player is someone who can be fantastic in a poor team. Scott West is a fine example

He's an out and out winger. Soft, fast with wonderful skills.

Will do very well in a good side.

Again, It helps having Harvey, Hayes, Ball & Dal Santo giving you the pill.

Looks much better on a wing running forward than he ever did on the backline. I noticed a couple of times on the weekend when he was under pressure he still panicked a bit. In another game this year he also wasn't prepared to put his head over the ball when required. But when he gets it in space, he is well balanced and looks good.

He's still shirking contests and kicking 5m in front/over his intended target very frequently
He always had his strengths as a receiving midfielder, but when you have the midfield we had playing the game we did he never had a chance, especially not down back
I wasn't the only one on this forum claiming he'd flourish at StKilda as a replacement for Black, funny enough it happened

Good on him, again as I said before the season, he'll be the first Tiger to wear a Premiership medallion for a long time

Good, he didnt want to leave.

CJH, Harrison has been a dud for the Doggies

It F@#$'n annoys me watching him play the way he has been.

Cant Blame Fiora, we just dont have the class in the midfield like the saints do at present (but our youngsters will go along way in changing that over the next few years) to let Aaron play his natural running receiving game on a wing.

Good luck to the young man.
