been watching the international rules so far

anyway i have noticed Murphy has got both shoulders strapped.....you could just see both of the strapping around both of his arms, coming out of the aussie guernsey

A) did he hurt it last game, i didnt watch it??
B) did he hurt it in the season??
C) hopefully he is just making sure nothing happens. a precaution you could say

Just had a quick look (extremely quick look) at the Round 22 highlights & Murphy had both his shoulders strapped in that game. I think this has been standard practice since he injured his shoulder in 2006.

preety sure ive read somewhere that the strapping is not there because of injury but because the player can respond quicker when in awkward positions and not cause major injuries , dont quote me on it though .

It can also have its negatives. Restricts motion and could have adverse mental affects, with the player viewing his shoulders as weak spots.

It's no coincidence that Riewoldt's stark improvement in form occurred at the same time he ditched the strapping.

He asked you not to quote him.

Jesus Gummo, why the hell would you do something like that?

Why not have a look at the round 21 highlights against BrisVegas?

I clicked at the wrong time when searching the videos on the AFL website & then found a passage of play involving Murphy straight away. Don't worry, I watched the last quarter of the Round 21 match last weekend, having watched the second half of the Round 17 clash against the Bulldogs the week before.

i actually thought it wasnt tape that it was just one of the t-shirt skins.

Anyone (other than Gilly) familiar with NLP?

According to NLP the human brain understands language primarily in the affirmative. In fact we only comprehend negative sentences by first transforming them into the affirmative then negating them. For example if I say to you, "Don't think of a pink elephant!" you must first envisage a pink elephant and then try to dissolve that image to stop thinking of it.

Now think of "Don't look down" "Don't quote me" etc.
