As a big fan of Spud, I was very disappointed with the photos we saw recently of him with his shirt off at training. I'm hoping it was a weird angle or pose by Murph. As such, next time one of you guys attends training it would be great if we could see a topless shot of Murph. I'm hoping another photo might show the physique of a bloke who's training like his life depended on it, but I'm not too optimistic. Show me Murphy's topless torso!

They aren't all ripped and cut specimens.
Plugga always looked like he was unfit.
Tuck,Laidley, Ken Hunter just to mention a few who never managed a physic but knew how to play.
Spud needs more between the ears than muscle on his bones.

Yeah, I didn't mean cut/ripped. I really don't care about that, but i want to see some strength. You always knew Ablett, Plugga, Dunstall were strong enough to move full backs off the ball, even if they weren't all that defined. That's what i want to see from Spud

I also made a few disparaging remarks about the same photo and was howled down by many.

Apparently when you look like an unfit racing greyhound you are still able to take contested marks and push fullbacks of the mark because of some core inner strength or some other crap!!

I am with you kp, he looked very bloody ordinary and unless he is a Jedi knight and has the "force" he will not be a part of our 22 this year.
