I for one wouldn't hasten to guess, so provide you this information from what I have read only.

Before Murphy was drafted, people were saying around 10th.

Now that he has shown that he has what it takes to be a superstar at this level, he would be much higher-definitely in the top couple.

Agree, just b/c someone dominates at junior level isn't always an indication of their ability in the AFL. Murphy's debut season has been great and would be very high (top 4/5) in this draft. However, I couldn't have hoped for a better debut and he could be anything. Can't wait to see Gibbs alongside him at Carlton next season .

gibbs would be ahead bc he's played senior footy, is 6"2 and looks the goods
gumbleton and hansen are big boys who can be anything.

either All-A or Vic Metro...something like that. he was definitely murphys capt in some team last yr....and was considered above him...very highly rated...

How? Gibbs is SA and Murphy Vic, played at the championships in different years.

I saw him out last night, had a chat to him. I can't stress how much i love the fact that this kid is at OUR club. Mature beyond his years, very very humble n likeable bloke, not to mention an absolute gun.

Selwood captained Murphy in the international rules series. Selwood played for Vic Country not Vic Metro.

Talent wise i think murph over the past 4 drafts would be 3-5 but the thing i love most about him is his mind. He has to be the mest mentally able player to ever play the game. For a boy of his youth to do what his done. To be named as a potential captain just remarkable
