Any news for the Congupna club with new players? Alex Overs name from Katamatite and another from there have been mentioned. New coach be nice to bring a few

With the Tongala Primary School wearing green and white uniform, has the option of swapping the famous old navy blue to dark green been raised?

It would be an almost identical strip to Echuca, but being in different leagues it wouldn't be an issue, but could be in the Goulburn-Campaspe JFL ranks.

Although, a suitable nickname would need to be found.

Doubt he would go back there on his free will even if they do chuck a bit of coin at him. And his slowed down a bit this year and he wouldn't be the dominate player like he was when he won the bnf there.

His best mate Scott McCormack took him there in the first place and he would need someone like that to go back there. Petts woulda been a good one cos both live in Melb but his committed to ky

maybe a slight chance since he has family ties out there but i still think his retired as a player. he started at ky and I think he'd be happy to finish there like he has and hang up the boots

Maybe the senior body is going to change their colours to match their newly proposed name "The Tongala Greenham Bulldogs."

Yeah they got a sponsorship offer from greenhams. Offer is to change there name to as u said above ^ if they decide to go ahead with the proposal then there will be a big sponsorship deal involveing a bit of money if what i heard is true.

The club is having a meeting to discuss the options and have invited players surpporters and anyone who wishes to attend

May even get the odd game from a few retired Dogs up there is what I am told is true! ( perhaps a ruckman/ lawyer type?)
 
Any truth in Tim looby coaching congupna? If so good get he should be able to attract some players
