I'm looking at loading my iPhone up with some decent applications in the next couple of weeks.

So what are some of the applications you have and what are some decent ones going around? :)

Remote - Use your iPhone as a remote to your iTunes library over WiFi.

Shazam - Awesome party trick that recognises most recorded songs.

Simplify - Allows you to stream from your iTunes library so long as your source computer is on via WiFi or on 3G (a quick way to hit your quota!).

HoldEm - Poker game. Best game available by miles.

Labyrinth - Rarely used due to lack of patience, but it is very clever.

Get Air Sharing while it is still free.

Guitar Toolkit - Only if you play the g-tar!

I have an iPod touch. Still on 1.1.1 because I hacked it on that and I cant be bothered losing all my music by restoring and updating so I just left it on that. I have:

Labrynth : Really awesome, like those little wooden boards with holes that you try and have to stop the ball bearing going into.

NES: Original old school nintendo. Pretty cool, i have about 60 games for that.

Playstation 1: not that good, really buggy and the games are too big (70meg)

Gameboy Advance: Not bad, again fairly buggy but its pretty good.

iSolitaire: good, simple

iSnake: very hard, just normal snake but you have to lean it to move it around

iPhysics: i reccomend this game, really cool and you can do some amazing stuff

4Balls: connect 4\

Sendfile: able to download free mp3s off the net on your ipod

Pool: probably my most played game, my friends love it too. works really well

Tunewiki: has lyrics to pretty much every song. you just play your music through there and the lyrics come up in kareoke form. you have to be on wireless

Mxtube: can save youtube videos to your ipod

Pocketouch: allows you to pause/play, skip, ajust volume without having to look at your screen. just swipe/tap in different ways. pretty good

im guessing theyre all hack programs? i.e not in the AppStore?

I thought about jailbreaking my iPhone. But with the appstore decided against it. Plus it was too much work - im lazy :)

100: 34.351658

I dont believe that for a second

That is ridiculous

Screenshots would convince me though

Haha, no one believes me. I'll get some screenshots on later tonight, but I doubt that will change your mind. Actually if you want further proof, I'm on the global high scores list. That's me on the top :D

I just get in a zone when doing them, and if I'm not switched on I don't get anywhere near those times. It's been a gradual improvement though. I remember being very happy breaking 8 secs and 40 secs for the 20 and 100 respectively and now those times are just pretty average.

ok, so ive downloaded a buncha games onto my itunes, downloaded all the latest software, plugged my ipod in, but im puzzled to how to get them on my ipod...wouldnt they just load on automatically like songs n vids?

also, wen i plug it in, it says iphone  wen its an ipod touch...

Still dont see how times are possible. I go as fast as I can without not being able to see the next question, and I can only get around 8 seconds, let alone 6

Also the fact that the 100 high score is 6 seconds doesnt help me believe

Here we go, I broke some more records :D

Some tips:
- I use two fingers from my right hand hovering over the right and wrong buttons. I find this much faster than what I assume is the natural method of two thumbs. Maybe it's because I've played piano for most of my life, my finger reactions are very quick.
- I try and keep a constant rhythm, answering each question at about the same time. I used to try and answer each one as fast as I can, but yeah the lag in moving up the question list would become a bottleneck as I had to readjust my vision looking at the question. Try and look at the next question as it comes up from below the bottom of the screen.
- Try and zone out any attempts to look at whether you're right or wrong. Just do each question and move on ASAP.
- Prepared to get a lot of attempts less than 100%, but when you do get 100% that's when the speed will show up.

If someone had told me someone could break 7 secs for 20 questions a month ago I wouldn't have believed him. But it is possible, perhaps I'll have to video it if I figure a way to do so.

Facebook app could be a LOT better. It is so in need of further development it ain't funny. Sure it does most things, but there are a few things it doesn't do, and it has a couple small "features". Twitter apps are going great guns while the Facebook app looks a little tired.

Unblock Me.

Love this Game and for free you cant beat it for the thinking genres etc. Also in this same sort of style is "Boxed In" which is awesome and very time consuming. :thumbsu:

Pretty sure the original developer abandoned it, claiming the Apple review process was too limiting. A quick search would probably yield you some explanation as to why the app has kinda halted in progress
