So in 2024, the US team were thrown in dissaray with the absence through danger boy and Sexton.
IF They're better prepared can they take down the Lawrence bros and the third bro?
Given the dominance of Jett and the continued solid very high end performances of Hunter, in the US, can the Aussies go back to back at Ironman? Recency bias says likely a very high chance.
Who will be the 3rd bro? Plenty of choice from home soil.
We'll find out in September how good these guys are in Darwin for the MXGP round (which I'm going to, can't wait!)
Very high chance, but they'll be up against it against a full strength US team. Littered with talent over there.
Let's also not discount the 'fastest man on earth' in Herlings and the Neds, Caldenhoff and De Wolf are no slouches and were probably dissapointing at Matterly Basin last year, probs too Herlings, I'd rate him right up there with Jett, Eli, Chase and the perennial never say die Gasjer.
Not to mention the French, Febvre, Vialle and Renaux, no slouches there either. And the Germans? Maybe only Kenny is a real threat there, given familiarity with US soil, and let's not forget Kenny at his best is very difficult to defeat. Certain dark horse.
The Brits, high quality in Anstie and Searle, maybe not up to the calibre anymore, none the less a threat not to be taken lightly.
Discuss.

- Beaton? Knows Euro riders very well a former MXGP2 race winner and current leader of the Aus MX pro.
- Webster? Good showing at Matterly, maybe a level below THE very best in the world but still has experience, would likely improve.
- Crawford? 2nd in points at Aus MX pro
- Clout? Has ventured and raced on US soil.
