My absence

Just letting you know that my father passed away in Adelaide recently which is why I haven't been very active on these boards (and a lot of other places) over the last couple of months.

I'm back in Darwin now but won't be posting much until the new year when I hope to be back in full swing as we gear up for the 2004 season.

I have been reading our board about twice a week to keep a little up to date and get a laugh at some of the **** that has gone down recently but just don't have the motivation to post and get involved at the moment.

Did you hear about the crash that happened on 3am Halloween morning where the driver was killed on impact and thrown out of the windscreen? I went to high school with him and the passenger (who survived, thankfully) at Henley High. It happened on the Tapleys Hill Road/Henley Beach Road intersection.

My Grandma's best friend (who was also a close friend of mine) passed away a week later after being sick for a long time.
