Going out on a limb here but I'm calling Myers out today as someone who should and will arrive for Essendon as a quality player next week against Sydney. I'll look pretty foolish if he stuffs it up this weekend for Bendigo, or doesn't get picked next week, or fails to deliver if he does, but I'm going for it!

Myers, time to show everyone who doesn't believe what those who do believe see in you. Get out there on Sunday and dominate, force your way into the team, and then show some quality as we beat the Swans next week.

Myers IN against Sydney
Essendon to beat Sydney by 30+

Who's with me? :D

We'll see how he does backing up from his BOG last week.

Would love to seem him back next week though.

He reminds me of Pavlich when Pav plays midfield.

Kelvins eyes lit up when he saw this thread.

Another opening to unleash on Myers.

Could possibly have used Myers' body strength in midfield. That said, Medhurst putting on a koala tackle on Hocking (I think), who stood in the tackle until Medhurst fell off, was funny :) How good's Hocking's core strength. :thumbsu:

Honestly if he backs up his VFL form in the next couple of weeks he should and will be in the side.

That's right.

As much as I want to see him out there, he needs to find some consistent form. With that will come confidence and hopefully goal kicking accuracy.

1.6 ..... seriously :D

Had 30 and kicked 1.6 last week.

We'll let him off a little as Frankston isn't always an easy place to kick straight at goal.

Another good game and he should be at the top of the INS list.

The best part was he had a heap of clearances.
