How does mcginnity get a game. I hope there was a loan system in AFL, so we can loan him to essendon forever.
Chops should be in that side over a few blokes imo.

I'm very interested to see how Cole and to a lesser extent Partington go with some senior guys back. I think Cole could get a few games this year a little like Nelson last year in that I see him holding his own and perhaps not dominating but showing some consistency.

Sure hope that Shuey is 100% fit and they're just giving him an extra week off.

No Hotline in the squad..but McSpuddity is in to give us the same crap we get every year from him. Surely this is the perfect time to be developing Hotline and giving us a chance to see what he can do?

It almost feels like Priddis has said to them, "Look Gold Coast aren't bringing over their guns but I need a solid challenge before round 1. Let Nic Nat and I handle the contested game. We can play four wingers instead. We'll get it done."

Believe when see. With so many outside options it should be a good game to see how he goes playing inside. I actually wouldn't have minded them giving Chops a crack inside as well - based on absolutely nothing other than I think he is one of those players who would benefit from a trigger to get involved early on. What better way than starting on the ball? He knows how to run and could throw his big (upper) body around in there alongside NN.
