The west has quotes from the Club saying Shuey copped a knock to the knee last week and after scans their is no damage but is taking no risk this week and will play next week. Wellingham had a set back but not being risked this week and should play next week. They also said they only play 2 ruckman.

That never worked, looked horrendous and as soon as the ball hit the deck we were a mid down. There's a reason why it's never been done sinceI definitely like the idea of playing Nic Nat as a rover a bit more like he did in 2011/12 with Cox in the ruck. Although ideally Lycett will build up enough of a tank that we don't need to play Giles as well.
Agree. And with due respect to Lycett, he isn't in the same league as Cox as a ruck. Nic Nat should always ruck in the centre - that's where he dominates. He already plays a dual ruck and ruck rover role simultaneously (by following up his own tap outs) - that's the advantage we get from him over other rucks. The only time I could see him not rucking and playing a ruck rover role would be at stoppages but not sure he'd bring any advantages in those situations as they are almost always far too congested for a big man like him to be able to weave his magic in.That never worked, looked horrendous and as soon as the ball hit the deck we were a mid down. A wrecking ball that can't pick up the ball at ground level? NoI could see it working well at throw ins. Lycett contests the throw in and nicnat becomes like a big wrecking ball.
I had a bit of a chuckle to myself on the weekend when I saw Essendon start doing things we have all seen tried and tried and tried.... Like a four tall, no small forwardline. That never worked, looked horrendous and as soon as the ball hit the deck we were a mid down. There's a reason why it's never been done since

I suggest to those going to the game tomorrow night to make your way there now. Horrible ground to go to and get into with only one access point. There will be big delays getting into the ground just like last time. Unless you are a regular WAFL watcher and you know about the hole in the fence near the scoreboard or the back way through Arena.
based on last year, i expect them to be ready by mid april.Mark Duffield @MarkDuffield1 13m13 minutes ago
Simpson says Luke Shuey, Sharrod Wellingham, Dom Sheed and Mark Hutchings have niggles that will keep them out.
I'd expect all of them to come back in v Essendon the week after.
You don't fix it, if it ain't brokenFrom memory we did the same against the Crows?
It was only a 100 point loss. If we lose by 200 then we gonna make some changes.Maybe rest schoey and bring barrass in. The guy is susceptible to niggle and what not and he did have a massive task on tex and jenkins. ALso Like to see Barrass have a go. He is no physically ready to play AFL and his recent form was pretty good. showed some great work on big tex early on last game.Maybe something like this:
Nelson Mackenzie Brown
Sheppard McGovern Hurn
Jetta Priddis Gaff
Hill Darling LeCras
Cripps Kennedy Lycett
Naitanui Yeo Duggan
Schofield Butler/Ellis Cole Partington McGinnity Bennell McInnes
E: Giles Barrass Karpany Butler/Ellis
