said no one ever.Mcginnity will out play at least half a dozen of our players this week

read gaff will be playing more inside this season and will be staring in the centre square more often. Could chuck jetta, duggan and parto on the wings and Gaff play on ball alongside priddis. Or we could have lycett and giles rucking and nic nat playing on ball.Total inside midfielders on our list for NAB2 = 1 (Priddis). No Shuey, Redden, Hutchings or Sheed. It almost feels like Priddis has said to them, "Look Gold Coast aren't bringing over their guns but I need a solid challenge before round 1. Let Nic Nat and I handle the contested game. We can play four wingers instead. We'll get it done."
After us failing to turn tunbridge and college from key forwards to midfielders, im a bit put off by lamb in the middle. Tho i like the idea of him pinch hitting like a roughy or playing a bit of wing like richo.Believe when see. With so many outside options it should be a good game to see how he goes playing inside. I actually wouldn't have minded them giving Chops a crack inside as well - based on absolutely nothing other than I think he is one of those players who would benefit from a trigger to get involved early on. What better way than starting on the ball? He knows how to run and could throw his big (upper) body around in there alongside NN.
I don't think he could play worse than jetta or yeo did last week and that's just 2 of our bigger namessaid no one ever.

The game was over before the ball bounced and they played bruise free footy. Mcginnity can have 30 touches but it wont be damaging as half a dozen jetta or yeo touches. I keep on saying this every year but you got to say that its mcginnity's last season.I don't think he could play worse than jetta or yeo did last week and that's just 2 of our bigger names
He's no star but the effort is there

You and i both know that mcginnity wont get past 10 touches. It could very well be his last season,
If mcginnity gets 30 touches he should get selected for round 1 in yeo s or jettas spot if they only got 5

Bit of a fan are you? He did kick a couple of goals last week (pretty cheap I know).Karpany shouldn't be playing. Might as well just go in with a player down again like we did last week.
Lamb's way too raw in the middle.im a bit put off by lamb in the middle. Tho i like the idea of him pinch hitting like a roughy or playing a bit of wing like richo.
You do know throwing a practice ball up in the air on the sideline don't count as touches? It could very well be his last season,

God no, I didn't mean as a full timer, just to pinch hit to see how he goes. I kind of like the idea of every player getting to experience playing in the middle (only in NAB obviously) if they are physically capable because it lets them get an up close idea of the best AFL skills, speed and pressure and also gives coaches a yard stick to assess how they do under that pressure. I think NAB has three purposes: 1) to get minutes in to players before round 1; 2) to see is up to scratch; 3) to experiment a bit to test players versatility. I couldn't care less about winning or losing the NAB games personally.read gaff will be playing more inside this season and will be staring in the centre square more often. Adamson should be playing Baseball.
Yeah thats what i like. Even him pushing down the ground and act as the linkmen like tom lynch from the crows is good move. However, it seems simmo wants him to be more of a key position player these days. Maybe its to develop that aspect of his game early so when he hits his peak in a few years, his well rounded and can play multiple roles.God no, I didn't mean as a full timer, just to pinch hit to see how he goes. You never know, the blokes talented and is a hard worker. He now has body big enough, where he feels confident enought to throw around and win a contested footy. He could develop into a smooth moving inside mid like a pendlebury or even a hanneberry.Don't think we'll see that happen.(I gather you meant to write starting)
We will find out a lot this year. At the moment he's not AFL grade but he is meant to be a hard trainer.I thought he was doing ok tbh

If we play nic lycett and giles in the same team in the season proper, im out.I definitely like the idea of playing Nic Nat as a rover a bit more like he did in 2011/12 with Cox in the ruck. Although ideally Lycett will build up enough of a tank that we don't need to play Giles as well.
That'd be VERY nice. You never know, the blokes talented and is a hard worker. He now has body big enough, where he feels confident enought to throw around and win a contested footy. He could develop into a smooth moving inside mid like a pendlebury or even a hanneberry.
