He was pretty good among the best. Kicked a goal and had a hand in a couple others. Played mainly forward and I think should play round 1. Scored 90.
Cool. Thanks.

Just playing with idea of going 3 rookie priced on field FWD. That's with regarding Kerridge as F4. Needing a solid F5 and love my DPP's. Kennedy stays firm on watch list.

It was good to see Pittard not doing Pittard things. If he scores above 90 in the next game I think he's all but scored D4 for me. One of the very few Port players I'd think are supercoach relevant.

Nothing to see here folks. Just ignore that stud who scored 107

Good luck with him.

Why no end of season surgery? If you were tiges supporter and that issue wasnt sorted out in the off season you would be dirty

Once you do a calf it can't be fixed, same thing that happened to Nathan Buckley late in his career. Unfortunately for Lids he'll have this for the rest of his career.

Ahhh, not sure who told you it cannot be fixe, it certainly can be fixed under a knife, itll take 3-6 month recovery with extensive rehab. But absolutely the gastrocnemius and the soleus can be completely repaired via surgery, without compromising performance

Bucks was cut down by hamstring injuries, not calves.

Big day today for us Super Coachers, not only will it be the first of hopefully many funny lols watching Essendon fail throughout the season but also so many kids to keep an eye on. Hoping to see guys like Simpkin show something, as I fell asleep in the 3rd yesterday and woke up to the Richmond theme song, maybe an entertaining game too.

I'd like to see Woosha decapitating off half back. :hearts::rainbow::cry:

I'm gonna take a stroll down and have a look. I haven't been there for 20 years!

stevebbb you've mentioned several times that DeGoey won't get enough midfield minutes once the real stuff starts and will only average 78-82, but it looks like the coach is starting to come around....

----
"MIDFIELD spots are hard to win at Collingwood, such is the array of on-ball depth on its list.

But Jordan De Goey has undoubtedly won his position, to the point where Magpies coach Nathan Buckley can no longer hold him back.

Whispers of the 20-year-old’s stunning pre-season at the Pies came to fruition on Friday night, with De Goey among Collingwood’s best four-quarter performers during its entertaining NAB Challenge win over Geelong at Simonds Stadium.

With Scott Pendlebury and Adam Treloar on the sidelines and Dane Swan playing predominantly inside forward 50, Buckley let De Goey loose in the middle of the ground, with the first-round pick attending a game-high 27 centre bounces.

And the nuggety yet classy young jet didn’t let his coach down, finishing with 24 disposals, 11 contested possessions, five clearances, six tackles and seven inside 50s. Most impressively, he had a game-high 657 metres gained.

After a scintillating pre-season, Buckley said he has been left with no choice but to throw De Goey in the guts more often.

“He mainly played as a high half-forward (in 2015), but you just can’t deny him that midfield time,” Buckley said.

“He’s really strong in the contests, he’s spreading and understanding transition better and he just has a knack of finding the ball.”

The only part of the article you need to read- "With Scott Pendlebury and Adam Treloar on the sidelines"
Adams didn't play a huge amount either.
