Guys, if the games tonight are like anything last night, I wouldn't be expecting too much from them. Especially with this new Out of Bounds rule, really ruins the game.

Yep, the new rule is an absolute shocker. If they ever bring it into the regular season it will be a disgrace.
I don't think anyone going tonight, including myself, is expecting a grand spectacle. It's not going to be pretty, but footy is still footy and it's a great opportunity to see some of the younger boys strut their stuff.
In the greater scheme of things tonight is pretty much worthless, but Carlton are playing and I'll be there supporting them.

I never envisaged the new OOB rule would get such a negative reception but the more you think about it and see it failing the more you understand the utter confusion it creates. GAWN!

Didn't watch last night but I've only heard very bad reports about this rule. Gonna be ****ing horrible with the way Collingwood hug the boundary line.

Nab Challenge venues
Week 1 - February 25-26, 2011
Alice Springs, Manuka Oval (unless scheduled for a NAB Cup match in this week) and South Australia, plus two Victorian venues that are yet to be decided.
Week 2 - March 4-5
Southport, Lavington, Bunbury and Shepparton, plus three Victorian venues that are yet to be decided.
Week 3 - March 11-12
Coffs Harbour, North Ballarat, Thebarton Oval and Aurora Stadium, plus one NSW venue and two Victorian venues that are yet to be decided.

Hopefully one of the Victorian venues is Visy Park, and that the Blues are scheduled to play there once or twice.
The less we play on the often sub-par rural grounds the better.
I'd hate for any side to suffer injuries in the lead up to round 1 as a result on playing on a crappy oval.
Might be for the best that we don't play at Etihad again until the proper stuff starts
