at times yes nut nowhere near as consistent, nahas has had one bad game only

Please. Nahas has now put together 3-4 good games. The first 4 weeks he was on the fringe of being dropped. Wouldn't be leading the B&F and by "how far". If he can sustain his last few weeks for the whole season, you never know.

well im telling ya he bloody would, you must have forgotten in games against carlton and the like he was the only bloke touching the ball in first half...cotch and martin took a few weeks to get a grip...Nahas by how far at R 8 but things could change

The first 4 weeks he was averaging 12 touches a game as a midfielder to go a long with 0 goals. I don't know what games you were watching but he was having little to no impact.

Realy only 2 games were like that. 1st and 2nd games, 4th game copped an injury and from memory subbed off.

First great signs were r3 against the Hawks. Was very good for us that day, easily in our top 5 for the day. Had - 11 contested possessions, 12 tackles, 30 (yes 30) pressure acts, 5 score involvements, 85% tog

as a big critic of this bloke his last 3 weeks have been pretty good couldnt ask for much more from him really.

for those defending his early form well you are wrong he was very ordinary. for a 23 yr old small mid i know what i expect from players and his first 4 games were not good enough.
i even thought his 26 possesion game against nm rnd 5 only just passable for many reasons.

early season i complained about structure the number of possesions we were getting and foot skills. its no surprise to me we improve structure find a bit more ball and we win some games albeit mainly against ordinary sides and sides we beat last yr.
i still think we play too many smalls who dont do enough get enough ball or have enough skill.
imo nahas is now getting enough ball for a mid is useing a bit better but is still ordinary by foot and hes kicking some goals.
hes at an acceptable level atm. the real test for him is to be able to maintain the standard and if he has a bad one narrow the gap from good and bad.

kudos to him on his last 4 games hes proved me wrong but 4 games does not make a player. we need him around his current level for the remainder of the season and next yr as well before we can say hes arrived as a bona fide player. its a thing called consistency i expect all afl players to perform consistently at a decent afl standard.
i also think he needs to continue to work on his disposal and learn to work more within his limitations.
one can only give credit where its due i dont think anyone can be too critical of his last 3 or 4 weeks. but i do believe we are entitled to be critical of his first 4.

5 games in a row

has really turned it around and a real credit to Hardwick .

Lets see if he can sustain it but the fact is .... his last 5 weeks have been nothing short of A Grade .
