I also liked the last game of 1993 where we went to Subiaco to face the highly rated Eagles needing a win to keep ourselves in the finals hunt. We were coming off a 4 game winning streak against all the contenders ... we won but just missed out after Collingwood, who needed to beat the Crows for us to make the finals, lost after leading by 34 points at one stage.

Blight running onto the ground celebrating after that win will always remain in my memory bank. Ran straight to Bairstow and gave him a giant bear hug.

Round 11 2018 vs Suns.

Seriously, though, thanks everyone so far for throwing in your suggestions.

I've picked up a number of these on 'Name A Game' in the past but pretty keen to throw in a late order before they shut it all down.

So keep the noms coming...

1989 round 9, Geelong v Richmond

I'd add 1985 Round 10 vs the Tigs at Waverley as well.

Still staggered by the scoreline of this game.

We were down by 13 points at three-quarter time...and won by 50!

11.5 to 1.2 in the last term.

It was back in the day when we didn't get any coverage of in-quarter scores on the TV up here. So after feeling miserable at the score at the last change, I decided to stoically hang on (I was already learning that was going to be important if I was truly going to follow the Cats for life) and see whether we had managed to somehow eke out a narrow win.

When the final score flashed up on the screen, I seriously had to check several times to make sure that they hadn't switched the scores of the two teams over by mistake.

Gobsmacked doesn't even begin to describe it.
