Name a song....

.....that is way outside what you normally listen to, you hate everything else that band does, and maybe you're even a little embarassed about it, but you absolutely LOVE it.
I've got a few, but I just heard The Smiths' 'How Soon is Now', and that song does it for me, for some unknowable reason. Everything I've heard by them, and Morrissey, is absolute shyte.

I reckon Creed's "Higher" is a magnificently written and performed song from a band i would have charges laid against for trespassing if they set up and played in my backyard.

I cringe whenever anyone looks at my iPod and sees it there amongst all the power and thrash metal. Dear me, I need to listen to metal for the next eight hours

I happily embrace my deep love for pop, and feel totally comfortable putting in my Britney Spears or 80s pop CD and then half an hour later throwing on the Foo Fighters or Jimmy Eat World etc, so there's little that embarrasses me, but the song that stands out for mine is Shameless (Live) by Garth Brooks.

Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Clapton's guest-playing on that sounds like he's strangling an animal, but somehow it manages to fit into the song. I have no problem with the Beatles, but think Clapton is the most over-rated guitarist on the planet.

Kid Rock - Cowboy. I don't know why I like this song. I just do. Pretty cool guitar solo in it, very Slash-like, but this is genuinely embarrasing.
