So there's another Nathan Ablett?

Because the one who played (if you can call it that) at the Suns the past two years wouldn't get a game for our VFL side, even if we had a VFL reserves team.

So, NO.

Honestly, I can't believe this is a serious ask? The bloke played in a flag somehow and walked away. He got drafted to a club where not giving a crap still didn't rule him out yet he didn't make it there. Even with his brother as the captain and star player he got chopped. How would he go under Nathan Buckley? Even if he could play he wouldn't last 5 minutes.

IF (and given history that's a massive IF) the penny has dropped and he's willing to put in the hard work, I'd much prefer to give him a rookie spot than a number of the other people mentioned.

He always had more natural ability than big brother, but never got his head around what was required application and commitment wise.

what about bringing him in as a rookie.
Any club drafting him is wasting a pick. He was lazy at Geelong and lazy at GC. Yes he has enormous talent, but he has no work ethic and even Gary couldn't get that into him.

That said, would be more than happy to see you guys draft, one less player on your list we need to worry about.

toxic attitude. Doesnt matter if he can play or not because he doesnt give a shit. Had his chance and didnt want it.

It upsets me that Nathan's contributions are underestimated by so many. Far too many lazy thinkers rely too heavily on simple statistics like possessions, kicking efficiency, tackles and inside 50s to measure the worth of the man. What is ignored is the significant contributions he has made to the occupy movement. With all due respect to the commitment of the protesters, it takes little talent to occupy a piece of cement. However, to stubbornly occupy a list spot at two AFL clubs deserves respect. It puts him into the same league as the great Ben Kinnear.
