Thats what I mean... the media just quote what comes out of the club... and nobody is as good at pumping up the tyres of their overrated players than Geelong.... or maybe Essendon.

The people who have seen him play, like myself, have every reason to be excited about his prospects, but they are not saying he'll win a flag on his own, so stop being so ********ing ******ed and making up other peoples minds.

Furthermore, you will be the type of scum who will knock the kid at every chance, and most probably make him like the game/club environment less and less. You are the one who should give the kid a break. I'm happy enough with him CHOOSING to give it a crack, after GFC had walked away and left it up to him.

There's plenty of kids who have had limited football experience that will and have turned out ok, even a few of them at Geelong, who have less than 5yrs of playing the code under their belt. But you wouldn't know that because you're too interested in being perceived as cool.

Thus, my hate is justified.

FFS Im not doubting he has talent but im sick of reading how he is going to be our saviour, let the kid play and let him play, let him reach his potential.....For those who have seen him play then you have every right to speak such as Bobby. I dont think he is ******** Im just saying we cant be making outlandish statements especially when 99% of cats fans here wouldnt have seen him play.....

I am knocking the Geelong fans who say he is our saviour not him. Obviously I hope he has a successful career and he is the next Nick Reiwoldt but claiming he is without seeing him playing (like alot of Cats fans are) is compltetly ridiculous!!!!

I am not against Nathan Ablett I am against people putting unrealistic expectations on his head.

Its ironic your the one making these posts. Geelong supporters who have waited for a couple of years for his signiture should be ashamed of themselves in being excited. The day he looks at these forums he is out the door!

GFC Fans should be excited but not put unrealistic expectations on his head.

Not ONE well regarded or reputable Geelong fan has made any claim of the sort, it's the blowfiles like yourself who start all the rubbish.

Thus, hatred is still justified.

Nathan played 3 senior games this year being in the best against Newcomb and Anglesea where he also kicked 2 goals. He also played against the geelong amateurs but left when he realised there was a reporter there.

That is the senior ladder clearly not the under 18s ladder where he played 17 games compared to 3 senior games
