That's a stupid post. When you have Bartel and Ablett in the centre, it has nothing to do with whether or not opposition teams rate them enough... what it comes down to is do they rate them above Bartel and Ablett?
Joel Corey has had one good tag and got creamed.. maybe they will tag him from now on for that reason. Thing is, when he isn't winning the ball(rare) there is no way it's worth tagging him or Enright because they don't hurt by foot... A tag for Enright is absolutely wasting a man because he just hangs out the back and doesn't use the ball that well anyway.
However, you consistently said that he would not improve, and that he would continue to hurt the team. This is where you need to eat some humble pie. And don't give us this, 'he was still beaten' and 'doesn't get the good forwards'. He was in our top 10 players by seasons end, and was dominant in several games, including on some dangerous forwards.
Consistantly?? You'll have to spend more countless hours digging those posts up too loser. Are you saying he didn't get beaten by good forwards?? If so you are dead wrong!! Top 10?? So he was next in line for AA selection was he?? Pfft.. go run and hide... I remember a period in the first half of the season when he had a lot more goals against than the other defenders.. well and truly.
Give me some dangerous forwards he was dominant on please?? When games were in the balance early in season.. eg Rnd 1 - demolished by B.Johnson(like always), Saints game at TD / when game in balance - demolished by Reiwoldt. His marking ability is his strength... he's never been that great as a key defender and terrible by foot.
After that you as good as agreed with my point that Nath was our worst player excl Byrnes/Tenace, but made excuses for him... If he needs all this development then do it in the VFL and give other guys a chance.
