Breaking news: seems like Nathan Freeman has TOTALLY SEVERED the ties between him and his unfortunate past at Collingwood and has caused IRREPARABLE DAMAGE to the reputation of Eddie MacGuire and Nathan Buckley.

I really hope we get this kid right. I mean, he barely gets a mention in best 22...much less best 30 teams. However he's a top 10 pick with a freakish set of attributes. I feel as a collective we've all accepted that he's probably never going to reach his full potential.

But if he does. Jeez. Will probably take all of 2017 to get himself going and then hopefully goes bang in 2018. Along with a few of our younger kids coming through and some pretty reasonable off-season recruits.

Keep going Nath! I look forward to this thread being posted in weekly about his game performances, rather than whether his h**string is still intact.

He has played a few VFL games in his whole career so anything we get from him is a bonus. He's literally never played a senior match so you would need huge balls to put him in your best 22 or even expect much. It's all a bonus until he can string games together but so far so good.
 
Freezer really could be a missing piece of the puzzle if we get him right. We have Newnes and Billings as the slower but more skillful types on/for the wing, but if we got a Freeman to play on the other wing and bring serious linebreaking pace, that would compliment our midfield beautifully going forward.
 
I'm really glad he's ticked every box so far this pre-season. A full pre-season for him is really important.

Don't think he will play much on wing , was the man in on ball drills with Acres today .
Jack Steven go to another level if he stays sound .

He looked good - Only knock is sometimes he goes too fast and it has a slight effect on his kicking.
