Sab22
Captain
I give him a game so he knows what's it like to play a proper AFL game.

Freeman was comprehensively beaten by the Frankston no.5 at centre bounces.
Considering Frankston was beaten by 20 goals tells you Freemans positioning at centre bounces wasn't great.
His general play was excellent but a fair bit to work on as s mid

He may never have the pace he had when he was drafted to be honest, so if we are waiting for that we could be waiting a while. He didn’t look ready to me. Doesn’t have his pace back yet. Probably being cautious and that’s fair enough. If he in the ones he won’t be cautious and the something could snap. Still don’t see the hurry.

That'd be a better outcome for all.Or he may be being cautious

Ok but did he "run his lanes really well" and "get into great spots"?Freeman was comprehensively beaten by the Frankston no.5 at centre bounces.

Unsure about quick but he was playing good footy, plenty of possessions etc I haven't been to watch Sandy all year, BF is my source of VFL knowledge!Wasn't he going pretty quick before his "SHOULDER" injury?
Let him start slowly and build up. Way too much class for the VFL. Like Billings. Think of how patient they've been with Paddy. Play the boy. We need his type. It's captain Risky time. We've got very very little to lose, given our current state. He didn’t look ready to me. Doesn’t have his pace back yet. Probably being cautious and that’s fair enough. No one is as quick as Connellan.Have not seen pace from Freeman in the 6 plus games so have seen him play.
Obvious skill and is a footballer but hadn't the pace of Conellan as far as I can see

he's normally pretty good on the inside, fair to say his shoulder would be hampering himFreeman was comprehensively beaten by the Frankston no.5 at centre bounces.

Yes we all need a boost but i still stick by what i said and whats Armo got to do with what i said ?Maybe so, but **** it. If Freeman is as injury prone as he appears, what's the harm in gifting him a game? If his hammy goes in the next VFL match his dream is gone.
Give supporters a reason to tune in Saturday arvo.
It's time some heart went into the Saints on matchday, because following the head isn't achieving anything. I'll take Freeman over Armitage any day of the week, and if Freeman only gets 9 possessions and has 4 clangers - it's better than Armos last AFL game.
Where is all this Armo talk coming from , im talking about Freeeman ,,,,,, YouHe's only missed two weeks between when he had nearly a month under his belt to now....he isn't starting from scratch. If he's gonna get injured again I'd rather it be playing in the 1s than in the bloody 2s again. Reward him, we have **** all to cheer about at the moment and it's one of the easiest AFL tests he could get. Plays, rest next week, then second half of the season in the senior side if he stays healthy. Makes too much sense but the club will probably be cautious and bring in armo for another 8 touches in the midfield when he's clearly cooked.
