Enough for me to pre-order. Can't wait... Especially if I have the power to request trade options on my team - No More JR Smith chuckfests...
There is one thing I really hope they fix - rotations. Nothing worse than being a guard and playing on a guard heavy team - the "coach" would always a SG at SF, or a SF at PF. And im not talking about swingmen or tweeners here, I was on the Suns and they were running Barbosa at the 3. For the whole fourth quarter. Cost the team so many games, and was incredibly frustrating.
2K are ridiculously good.
I was a bit wary that with the new Jordan mode, they'd push my Player to the wayside. Reading that article has assured me that they still care about it. My Player was my favourite mode in 2K10 and with the added tweaks, it'll be awesome.

I agree completely.
same thing happened to me, i was on the mavs as a PG, and they play myself and jason kidd as a SG for the majority of the time, and then terry at the 3...got slaughtered..
If 2k fix these stupid coaching issues then this game seems borderline perfect to me
I also wouldnt mind being able to reduce the season, personally i like the option of having a shorter season eg 29, 52 games

Mini rant: the whole idea of skill points is kind of silly. If you have a really good defensive game and get 2000 skill points, how is it that that allows you to improve offensively. You should be rewarded with improvement in skills based on performance in each skill. Go 3/5 from three? Improvement in 3 point shooting. Grab 13 rebounds? Improvement in rebounding. The system would obviously have to work on a curve (the better you are at a skill the better you must perform to improve), but I think it would really make the whole process of developing your player much more satisfying.
I think it should be a combination of the two methods. Natural improvement in the areas you excelled in, and a reduced amount of skill points to place. You could have it so you get the same amount of points you do now, and it would be heaps better. You want to have some control over how you develop, but not so much that you can just spam certain attributes.

I'm a 2K loyalist...but I'm liking the ESPN integrated TV presentation theyve got in Elite 11.

The hop step from Jennings ~3:00 was awful.
And then the rebounding, especially the Gallinari offensive board, where it seem to float through a Buck who was directly in front of Gallo, was equally as bad.

That Elite video looks so crap
From what I saw, it's just crossovers and pump fakes. The players look crap, animations are dodgy and the gameplay is awful.
I wonder if they've just stopped trying and conceded that 2K is on a whole other level

Alot of screens was kinda cool but I wonder if AI can react when you jump them all and play for a steal.
