ok, thanks for the info. Makes things a bit tougher.

I have a pretty decent starting line up (I think)
Irving, Affalo, Mayo, Z Bo, Drummond.

What is the highest points you have got in a single game?

If you have the Fade Ace badge then I'd give it to Z-Bo and any rebounding badges to Drummond.

Dimer would be useful for Irving as well for the pass into the post.

F***ing servers!

Just did the Miami game with 3 stars and after it's done it says it can't connect to the servers and it hasn't given me the packs or the stars for the game.

F*** YOU 2K AND YOUR SHIT SERVERS YOU CAMPAIGNERS!!!!!!
Traded the game in yesterday because of the servers and bullshit input lag. Didn't have these problems with the ps3 version.

Bet it used a contract up though didn't it? Its ****ed.

It did but the positive is that Z-Bo no longer has the torn ACL he got in the game (his 2nd game back from a torn MCL), so that's a bit of a silver lining I guess.

Now I load up the game and he does have the ACL injury.

F*** YOU CAMPAIGNERS AT 2K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lel. On my 10 day contract I'm scoring at 17% fg this particular game and caused 4 turnovers.

End up scoring a buzzer beater. Redeemed myself.

Just had an epic result. We're down Paul George (the irony that he gets a leg injury in my season!) for a few games, so we've got a relatively poor squad going out onto the court. But I've managed to pull us through for a few wins against average opposition.

But this time, we're up against the Spurs. We're not playing well for most of the game, trailing for most of the match and going further behind even more when I'm not on the court. Start of the 3rd and we're down by 17 points. I get the objective to get us to within 10 points before 4 mins of this quarter is up. I manage to jump out early and grab a 3, then some good defence and good shooting gets us to within that 10. By the end of the 4th we're down by that margin, 10.

Overall we're still struggling to peg back anything though, so I feel this is where I need to hog the ball as much as possible to get us the win. But, in doing so, the double teams come onto me, however they leave West open time and time again and he nails 5 baskets back to back to bring us even. West has shot 7/7 for the night so far, when with 25 seconds to go he misses a wide open jumper from the baseline. This gives San Antonio almost an entire shot clock to make the final play.

We manage some superb defence, with Parker wanting to own the last play, tipping the ball out of his hands a few times. But he recovers every time and then with 2 seconds on the shot clock (2.5 game) to go, he puts up a flick shot that comes off the backboard and rolls into the basket. 1.1 seconds on the clock...scores are 64(Pacers)-66(Spurs).

Timeout called. We inbound it, I get the ball on the 3 and put the shot up, my timing is early, almost too early. But...IT GOES IN! There's huge reaction, however the refs don't know if the time had run out or not...to the replay! The replay shows, over and over...and it looks like, with 0.1 seconds left on the clock the ball has left my hands! We win! 67-66. One for the ages, will tell my kids about this moment one day!

3 mins onwards is the most intense moments.

Epic!

I haven't played NBA2K15 but played the shit out of MyCareer in NBA2K14 - lots of frustration but then you get those epic moments.

I'm still undecided about whether I'll get NBA2K15 but man those graphics look sweet.

Will try to resist the temptation for now as I have too many games to play now (deep in Destiny, part way through TLOU and haven't unwrapped Shadow of Mordor) and coming up (GTA V and Far Cry 4).

Anyone got any tips for my player?

Last 2k I played was 13 and it is completely different. I used to dominate on the hardest difficulty but suck balls on pro.

I've given up on playing point guard and am now playing as a power forward. Never realized how satisfying it is to reject people and score second chance points.

Will take tips for either position as I got no clue what to do post moves.

Blake is kind of weird to use, I'm not really sure how to best utilise him besides being a guy who can run the floor.

What line-up do you go with? I've got an overly big starting 5.

PG: Kyle Lowry/Mike Conley
SG: Rookie Kevin Durant/Arron Afflalo
SF: Anthony Davis/Gerald Henderson
PF: Dirk Nowitzki/Marcin Gortat(Blake Griffin will replace now)
C: Dwight Howard/Andrew Bogut

While Davis doesn't have 3pt range his mid range shot is good and his quickness and length on defense really help with adding up blocks and grabbing boards. Plus having both him and Howard allows me to throw a good amount of lobs that don't get stopped, got a good rebounding group and 3 point shooting is very good as well.

Aside from Bogut they all have very good post fadeaways, even Dwight has a 75 rating in post fade.

Also once he recovers from another knee injury I've also got Z-Bo to throw in there that adds to the post fade cheese team.

That is a really huge line up.

I'm running with..

PG: Rondo/CP3 (It sort of switches up who I start/who gets the most mins based on opponent)
SG: Wade/Tim Hardaway Jr.
SF: Kawahi Leonard/Paul Pierce/Rodney Hood
PF: Lemarcus/Blake/Z-Bo
C: Drummond/Cousins/Marc Gasol

I def play a more conventional line up. I generally only utilise one big offensively when they're on the court in their pairings and the other one is mostly relegated to garbage man duties which is something Drummond is great at and what I eluded to before it's pretty much the role Blake takes when next to Boogie.

It's funny, when I got Rondo in domination the 1st thing I did was put him on the auction block and hope some Boston fan would overpay a bunch for him since I generally like my PG to be able to shoot 3s since I like to run a bunch of pnr's and shoot but he didn't sell and I love using him since he's such a beast defensively and super athletic to run the break and get into the lane to kick out for 3s. I like the rest too as I mainly use SG/SF and more spot up guys who can defend which both my starters and bench guys can do but they can also create if necessary.
