Been playing for a couple of weeks and am doing all my shooting with the triangle. The problem I have is that I can't do any dribbling without my player trying to take a shot. Any tips? It is bloody frustrating.

Sounds like you're mashing the stick too hard honestly.

I can't shoot from mid range and beyond for shit. Most of my scoring comes from in the post.

Started a Celtics GM save. Have got Kemba Walker, Ezeli, Favours and Stoudemire in. Fun team, just need to be able to hit my jump shots and it would be a lot more fun.

Are u getting green in the circle around the player ?

Jump shots are all about timing the release.

No idea, I'll need to check for that tonight. Doesn't seem to matter how long I hold the shot, some just fall and others don't.

Different players have different releases, you might be doing the same timing with each player but all of the releases are catered to the releases they have in real life so you gotta really pay attention to the dif timings of dif guys (also worth checking out the hot spots for each players as each player has hot and cold spots on the floor where they either excel or are shit at). You can mess around in practise with your team and go through the dif releases to get a better idea of the timing for them. Will help a lot.

While you guys are on this, I have Klay Thompson in My Team and can't shoot a 3 to save my life with him. I try and release early - doesn't work, try and release late - no go either. WTF?

I've always sucked with Klay's release as well.

I've always found Klay's release to be one of the best, I use it in MyCareer.

Im just getting into this. Loving the custom MyLeague stuff. Every team that has a late 80's through to early 00's historic roster option is loaded up (late 80's Celts, Pistons and Blazers, 93 Hornets & Nuggets, 95 Magic, 96 Bulls, 96 Sonics, 97 Jazz etc). It's cool seeing the historic teams blow up their rosters (MJ got traded to the Wizards in year 1)

Started with the 93 Hornets and built around LJ/Zo. Traded for Jrue Holiday and Tobias Harris plus a couple of pics. Managed to snag Ben Simmons by trading for a first rounder with the Jazz, then traded up to get the 1st pic. Made the conference finals twice in the first two years. Interestingly, Shaq stayed at the Magic and they won the chip the year after.

Just read that the Boomers will be apart of 2k17 so I assume an olympics mode may be available or maybe just be able to play with those teams which I think will be cool.

Assuming ps4 it's L1, icons will come above players then chose whoever you want to run it with by obv holding the corresponding button. Can chose whether they roll to the rim or pop out for the jumper with R1 while still holding the btn with whomever you chose to set the pick. I explained that pretty shitty but it's pretty simple.
