Long shot.. but anyone doing ProAm on ps4? Keen to have a team going

I gave it a shot last night doing the walk on. Won 2 games. I'll play if you need people but I'm only an average player. 6'1 PG play making slasher.

What brings you back to 2k?
Seems like MT is the only reason i keep coming back. I love the idea of getting the best team possible and just rolling all the other teams.

My best mate is enamored my MyCareer, litterly doesnt play any other mode than that, an always gets Traded to Cavs. Couldnt think of any thing worse than winning every game by 20+. No challenge

Last time i played MC was 15' (when leBron was on the cover) .

Started playing this about a week ago. Mainly MC.

Played my first Pro-Am game last night. Only one player on my team had a microphone and he spent the entire game complaining and swearing. Naturally the guy shot 30% from the field, had no assists and a D- teammate rating. The lowest teammate rating of anyone else was B+. He was always hovering around the inbounder trying to get the ball; wasn't long before people just started passing elsewhere.

Meanwhile I dropped 10 dimes as a point guard. I'm only rated 67 so far so my shot is a little inconsistent but I'm fast and pass well.

Little bit of a philosophical question here, but whatever. I'm a PF, and I was on some slashing rebounder who was sitting in the corner on offence. He shot 3/6 from three because I was collapsing to prevent open layups and dunks. Because it is so easy to shoot in Pro-Am, is it better to prevent the 3 and give the 2 in this situation, or most situations? I got abused by my teammates but I'm fairly sure they were 15.

Sold all of my MT assets after finishing All-Time Dom, came out with 360k. Supermax is a 5-out posteriser fest so I don't think I'll be back.

Leave him open from 3, if your team can’t out shoot a rebounding slasher you were never gonna win anyways

I actually has something similar on the threes in mypark last week.

The other team had really decent records, 2 were stretch bigs and the pg was a playmaking slasher. The first game I played tight on my dude and my teammates switched onto my guy when he used screens (I was pissed they kept doing it tbh). My guy (the playmaking slasher) scored 0 and we lost like 22-15.. their stretch bigs were very good and made every half open shot.
We rematched them and I completely left my dude wide open, I basically double teamed whichever stretch had the ball. We won easil, my dude made 1 open 3 at the end of the game, his only score.
They rematched us and I think the pg was pissed because the third game he kept shooting, he scored 8pts (2 3's and a dunk) he shot 2-5 from 3, we won easily, their stretch bigs took 3 shots between them. If a slasher with no shooting secondary build is your opponent force them to beat you from 3 you will out shoot them 99% of the time

Don't usually play online due to usually being laggy shit but I had to complete a placement match so I could create custom jerseys on MyTeam.

Absolutely demolished some campaigner to the point where he quit in 2nd quarter, the connection was good and I could actually shoot.

Played a Pack'n'Play game with CP3/G.Anthony/M.Ellis/AD/R.Anderson against Irving/Curry/Wiggins/Durant/Green and won by 5 despite being severely undersized, connection was excellent again as well.

Surprised me.

Also I want Diamond Derrick Rose.

I want Rose as well. Looks so good.
The connection has always been good for me. I usually play pack and play when I'm playing online. Got all the way through and won the thing first time haha :thumbsu:

Yep that was just as I thought, two flogs just dribbling the ball and jacking up shit shots the entire game.
Best way to go about Pro-Am is getting a team together if you want to play properly.

Half the guys on walk-on are trying to grind badges or just ball hog in general.

I'm trying to get the cap breaker up so I can get to 90 overall and get me some goggles.

It's absolutely ridiculous that goggles are locked behind a 90 overall wall.

They've made the game such a grind this season.

I've been stuck on 88 overall for two weeks because the attributes bar takes forever to get to 100%. I don't know how guys are upto 94 already unless they play the game 24/7.

MyTeam is even worse in the grinding and I feel you don't get rewarded enough to stick with it.

I agree with this I originally started MC to build up VC for MT packs, but MT just is tiresome this yr. I like MC but jeebus it is a lot of hard work for slow progress im a 67 6ft shot creating PG, part of it is due to my uncoordination but i get a avg rating of B but get bugger all minutes, not enough to get paid from my Adidas sponsorship (i need 15mins game time per match).

I pretty much put all my VC I got in my preorder on MC. Currently have a rating of 89 but the problem is the progression bar is grinding as **** now to get up to 100% and get more attributes.

I get about between 20,000-25,000 in progression points a game and it only goes up by 5% now.

I think the big mistake they made was by not multiplying progression when you go on a higher difficulty. You see these guys in Park rated 90 but are absolutely crap but benefited from just playing NBA games on rookie and are rated higher than guys that like a challenge so play on a Superstar or Hall of Fame setting.

The only reason I'm still on rookie is so that I can max out all my badges.
