I picked this up today

Pretty good so far. Being on fire isn't quite as powerful as it used to be, but very handy. Just smashed my first backboard too

Also just heard the best line from a commentator after i made a block

"No hoop for you"

Yeah being on fire used to mean instant 3 pointers from anywhere in your half of the court. Sucks a bit now. Still a good game though.

I got this at JB last night for 69 along with GT5 for 77. Pretty happy with that.

Haven't played it yet but will be cranking it up in an hour or so.

LOL just made the exact same 2 purchases but from EB cos they are better.

JB is cheaper than EB but EB has a better return policy and can price match JB anyway.

Why would you buy this game for 80 bucks (eb price) when you could get NBA 2k11 for 40?

The only time i shop at EB is to get them to price match, gives me a raging boner when they have to take $50 off of the stickered price.

JB is better because they are cheaper, have more accessories (also cheaper) and the pre owned games are WAAAAAAAAAY cheaper. Eb want more than retail price for 90% of their pre owned games. Never used the EB return policy because i make sure i research the game before i buy it (reviews, word of mouth, videos on you tube)

Back on topic, got this on Wii and its good fun but not worth the asking price, could've easily have been a downloadable title

Some great prices for the PS3 version on ebay, I've picked this up for $40.

If the Wii version had more modes than PS3/360 I would have gotten it but since Elite got cancelled Jam became a full disc version on 360/PS3 which is awesome.

Got it today just for nostalgia sake. Some new modes gives it an updated feel but I too am a little perturbed at the nerfed on fire. Still is a fun game to play though.

It is so much fun, it should be criminal!

Had some matches on Friday night with the boss, played classic mode, co-op mode, and a few remix matches

No lag reported when i was playing with my boss (who lives near mandurah, while i'm well north of Perth)

Brilliant stuff. Will probably get on it again tonight

Haha, no way. Didnt even know this was out there.

This on the mega drive pretty much got me properly into console video games. Shooting 3's from the sweet spot in the corner FTW

Is there much to this game? I mean what's the lifespan of it going to be.
NBA Street on the PS2 was damn good, as far as streetball, and quick fun, but it all went backwards in the sequel.

Oh, and I'm a little concerned about your preoccupation with your Boss, Glenno.

Lifespan not gonna be very long. It's just the same thing every time unfortunately. Good for a while though.
