I think Rasheed Wallace pulls his off ok. His skin is light enough to show up well.

Deshawn Stevenson getting the Pittsburgh Pirates logo tattooed on his face, but backwards.

JR Smiths Young Money tattoo looking more like a Yankees logo (maybe not so bad since he is from NJ)

Stephen Jackson getting praying hands clasping a gun tattooed on his chest

Jason Williams getting White Boy tattooed accross his knuckles. Already stupid, worse considering given to make it fit it reads WHIT EBOY

Shawn Marion getting his nickname The Matrix tattooed in Chinese- apparently it actually reads something like Demon Bird Mothballs

So theres some bad ones.

As mentioned, Rasheed Wallace's armpiece is really nice, but I seem to recall an incident a couple years back where it was used in a marketing campaign, and the Tattoo artist tried to claim ownership of it. I could be wrong, however.

The Birdman's look really crap on TV. I used to hate them, even though he's one of my favourite players. However I had the pleasure of meeting him over summer, and I can safely say that they look pretty awesome in person
