Kobe has never r*ped anyone so his class is still intact
Well, he's never been convicted. It's impossible for you to know if he has ever actually r*ped anyone or not.

Lets not get into that argument but ill just say I dont think an NBA superstar earning millions of $ would need to rape anyone.
I imagine LeBron would have to actually START playing SG first for him to be considered the second best at that position ever. Mind you, if anyone could do it, its LeBron - hell, when its all said and done he might be considered the best PG, SG, SF, PF and C, isn't that right cp?
Good to see you haven't gained any ACTUAL basketball knowledge over the course of the season cp. I'd hate to see you demonstrate any kind of intelligence or rational thought - it just wouldn't be right.

I couldn't care less what you think Prick Jane, cause I know you are gay, and that the Celtics are in the East finals ...
And least I also don't support three teams, and your 'stupid' excuse of supporing players, not teams, makes u the biggest bandwagoning flog and nit-wit of them all ..

Supporting players over teams makes a lot of sense to someone who simply loves the game. I have no connection to the US and I love the sport - so I follow my favourite players. What is 'stupid' is somebody claiming to attach themselves to the most succesful franchise in history, and knowing jack shit about the actual sport.
I can understand someone following players over teams due to us not being able to see every game teams play. Ive got a connection to chicago because the old man is from there and he's always gone for them. If I didn't I would probally be the same. To be a passionate, one team supporter I would say I would need to see most games they play or actually have some sort of connection.
that's exactly my opinion as well. mind you, I don't hold anything against people who just choose a team and go with it - but with such a mercenary league like NBA - I don't see the logic in it unless you've got a connection to the city/team.

The last refuge of a bandwagon jumper.

Karl Pilkington said:I don't see the logic in it unless you've got a connection to the city/team.
Couldn't he have been referring to your last sentence KP?
Well really, there isn't any logic in it, is there? If I'm missing something feel free to let me know.
The point is, I don't go out of my way to have a crack at people who choose to follow a random franchise just for the sake of it. Sure, I can't see any logic in it (because there isn't any), especially with the way players move around in the NBA, but I don't bust out some cliche "we don't need you blind, random followers with no connection to the actual city" statement every time I see one.
Whereas the people who can't see the foolproof logic in following players and not teams, seem to bust out "we don't need bandwagoners! Following players and not teams is stoopid!" at every opportunity, even though it's much more logical than just picking one city and following it.
Right now in my wardrobe I have the following jerseys:
C-Webb Kings jersey
Bibby Kings jersey
Lamar Odom Lakers jersey (yes that's right, I have a Kings jersey and a Lakers jersey)
Larry Bird Celtics jersey
Chris Paul Hornets jersey
And I don't see any problem with that (well, maybe the Lamar one is a bit stupid). I've followed and played basketball since I was 8 years old, and know a damn sight more about the game than half of these so-called 'true' supporters who have gotten confused and think following a team in the NBA is ANYTHING like following a football club.
The only basketball TEAM I've ever really followed was the Nunawading Spectres, then the South East Melbourne Magic, then the Titans... I gave up after that.
I love the game. It makes perfect sense for me to follow the players I love watching the most.
As someone else said, it is hardly as if any of these "true" fans even watch their team play more than ten times a year. Let alone go to a game.
I understand what you're saying KP, but don't hold it against people like me who love their team. I love the sport as much as anyone, but I don't think I'm too over the top with my Phoenix views and I try to objective based on the information I view and come across.
I don't hold it against anyone, if that's what they want to do then go for it. Its just annoying that many of these fans think us 'bandwagoners' are somehow less knowledgeable or enthused about the NBA than they are.
If anything, I think those of us who simply follow the league and our favourite players get into basketball even more than those who follow a team. We're excited about EVERY playoff matchup, and EVERY game - because we don't have an allegiance dictating that any one game or series should be more important than any other.
