It all evens out.

A play in the 4th quarter saw a Boston player(couldn't see who it was as the camera started heading back up the court) go up for an offensive board and got shoved out of play. Should have been a call but they let it go.

Dude seriously, give it a rest.

Admit your team got handed a game and move on. Best of luck, hope the Mavs get a few of those,

Give what a rest?

Teams get shit calls both ends.

So you wanna bitch about a few calls, good for you. Just do it on every single call they missed and not just the ones you want to bring up.

We didn't get handed shit, we had to bust a gut to get over the line.

The last 2 plays of a 1 point game are pretty important, wouldn't you agree?

A wrong call ion the 2nd is bad, but they DIDNT DIRECTLY INFLUENCE THE RESULT OF THE GAME. Seriously man, do I really have to explain this to you? If the refs call KG for tripping, Knicks win. Simple.

And that call on Melo? Even Pierce would be embarrassed to be given that.

Bust a shin more like it.

Do you believe that was a trip on KG and should have been called?

Oh Lord. This one even has Breen and Jackson sucking off Wade (with a "Momma there goes that man") and only JVG notes the fact that the contact was Wade instigated

I agree with your general outrage (although haven't seen the Melo charge, post if you have it), but that Wade call is 100% correct.

Young's fault for having shit defensive fundamentals - if he's square to Wade there, it's no call.

Wade initiated the contact with his leg. If he doesnt kick out the leg, there is no contact. What am I missing?

Jason Terry leads with his leg a lot and gets called for it.

The Melo call wasnt a charge, he cleared space with his arm trying to position for an entry pass. Havent got a vid

How? There is no contact if Wade doesn't kick his right leg.

If you're in a shit defensive stance and moving, I can pretty much ram you with my head Joel Selwood style and the foul's on you.

Fwiw, I think there's an obvious foul on the first contact (as JVG points out), and the second one I'd prefer a no-call, but it's Young's fault for being in shit position. Pretty much any smart offensive player would exploit it (although most would use the shoulder/elbow).

30 years of playing basketball tell me the 1st minute is every bit as important as the last when it comes to the score of the game.

Get a bad call in the 1st minute and they score 2 points it's still part of the score, just like 2 points in the 3rd period and whatever in the 4th.

It's only because the last 2 minutes are freshest in the memory people seem to make such a big deal about.

It's all relevant to the game no matter when or where it happens.

Like i said, they miss a foul on a Boston player getting shoved and instead of Boston having possession NY goes down the court and scores.

If they had called the foul NY wouldn't have scored.

So how is that different?

Fact is Melo should know you dont swing your elbows no matter what.

One thing refs hate is elbows being used to do anything.

This is what can happen when elbows are in play

I actually think he should have been called for the potential moving screen he tried to set with his shoulder, the trip was the secondary unplanned action.

That's bull shit because charges are often called based on the severity of contact initiated by the offensive player, regardless of the efensive player's position

Then those are shit calls. Usually they're flops by the defensive player.

Watch Chris Paul play, he takes advantage of this rule all the time, just barrels into anyone who's in bad defensive position.

Yes but he doesnt kick them.

Agree that his stance is incorrect BUT Wade still made the contact with his leg of all things. If Im guarding Reggie Miller in a bad stance and he kicks out his legs and makes contact with me its not a foul on me anymore.

After saying that, Personally I think it should have been a No call.

I thought they called the foul on young young for the first bit of contact with wades shoulder and not the kick

last year we got to laugh at Vince. This year we have Arenas.

Orlando starting a tradition.

Gil was probably our third best player on the night (not hard I know) and should have got more minutes.

J-Rich AND Turk were most Vince-like.
