Hi folks from the world of Big Footy,

My name is Barney and I would like to get some information in regards to getting NBA tickets. My family and I are going to the USA in January and one item in my bucket list is to see an NBA game. My sister has asked to go to Disneyland, tickets are easy for that but I'm not sure how I can go about getting tickets for the Lakers or Clippers. Either team doesn't really matter as any game would be awesome.

So, if anyone had any good suggestions - websites, box offices, how you have gone about getting tickets, how early should I get them, how much would we be looking at (mum, me and my sister are going) paying would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also like to ask about NBA vs College. What is better, what would you prefer to see and what would be easier to get.

Thanks in Advance

Barney (my real name is Barney but not Barney Stinson).

Go to both NBA and College!

NBA tix are easy so long as it's not NYK or LAL on a primetime game. Clips are almost walk ups.

Go to a Clips game and make your way to a Duke game if you're in North Carolina!

Wait for the schedule to be released for the new season.

Check which game you're free for and then go to the Lakers or Clippers website and check out single game packages and go from there.

NBA vs College is a bit like AFL vs SANFL in terms of skill, and NBA tickets aren't that hard to get, so I wouldn't even consider college.

While college lacks in skill, it makes the NBA look like the SANFL in terms of atmosphere. Definitely go to both if you can (just make sure you're not accidently wearing away team colours!) :thumbsu:

Try also Ticketwood.com . They put the prices from various sites on there so you can find the good one.

I got tickets from stubhub.com for the Lakers/Bulls. Stubhub is basically legal scalping. Cost about $80 each and were up in the top tier but it was still great. Staples centre was awesome.

Yeah Stubhub is really good for tickets, can even print them off at home ready to go.

Oh and you should go to an NHL game, much better atmoshpere than the NBA ;)

Stub hub is the ducks nuts, Got ticks to NBA and Baseball last year at a fraction of the price, and printed them off in the hotel lobby.
