After the double week in week 17 thought we might start fresh again . . . .

46-46 for Phx vs Lakers at half time. Barbosa showing his class once again as 6th man. No one really dominating for the Lakers, interesting they've only had 4 dimes to halftime.

Gil knocked down 3 free-throws to give Washington the win with 0.1 seconds left!

MVP:

and?

I said Kobe wasn't MVP.

btw the Mavs have been the luckiest team in the league this season.

Injuries, close games, refs etc...

luck runs out.

If we were lucky with injuries we'd have a better record than them.

Ridiculously overrated team.

apparently this season is 'their season' which is funny considering they've been saying that every year for the last seven. Will they ever learn?

Deluded pancakes.

Actually we have had injuries. (Dirk's ankle, Howard's ankle) it's just that our players are man enough to play through them.

Let's put this injury bull **** in context.

Firstly, the injuries that your team recieves is your own fault. D'Antoni has chosen to go the 7-8 man rotation combined with the frentic game plan. It's a pity your team cant winat the same in a slow down game as you could adjust your style so the 7 players wouldnt be worn out by play off time.

The injuries you get are the rational consequence of the personnel and style decisions of the Suns coaching staff.

Luck has nothing to do with it.

Secondly we have had injuries. (Dirk's ankle, Howard's ankle) it's just that our players are man enough to play through them. Dirk rolled his ankle at nearly 90 degrees but only missed one game. Howard had his ankle rolled badly 5 times during the year and has kept playing.

And last year Howard, Harris, Stackhouse, KVH, Daniels and a couple of others all missed 25 + games. But we have the depth to cover.

So all you are doing is pre-emptively setting this injury stuff up as an excuse when we suffoctae you in the WCFs.

Oh...yeah we do win the close games. IN fact we have hardly lost any all year. At a certain stage you have to recognise that skill (not luck) and the ability to close out a game both on the offensive and DEFENSIVE end are the ingredients of a championship team.

haha nice try denim.

7 years it's been the same old story, it's the Mavs year, blah.... blah.... blah....

if Nash doesn't get injured and Marion recently the Suns have an identical record to the Mavs, I won't even mention Thomas and Diaw and the fact that Amare hasn't been 100% all season. :D

face it dude, after 7 years of rejection your claims that your team will go all the way this season are hilarious. we've been waiting....

yep like the poster above i've just rearranged our games, our extended pre-season and where we'd be if we weren't unlucky and we're actually about 57-0 or something. Which is pretty fair form.

Nup. Never claimed that. Even with NVE, and Raef and Finley I knew we could not win it all.

It's only been the last 2 years that I know we can go all the way.

Speaking of go all the way, I havent done so for a year and a half nearly.

If only I could find the off button on this computer...

I still love you.

GOGOGOGO DIRK FOR MVP!!

Unfortunately David Stern is awarding it, so i reckon Steve Nash will still be favourite.

And how good is this for my fantasy team:
Delonte West - 31/5/10
Ason Kidd (cuz he has no J) - 11/14/14
Al Jefferson - 20/14
Butler - 20/3 + 5 steals
Collison - 6/10/2 so far

How does a man play the most minutes for his team, and not take a shot at half time.

That's right, everyones favourite Aussie, Andrew Bogut.

I'm watching the game. He simply doesn't touch the ball.

I'm going to count how many times he touches it in the last 5 min of this qtr.

Milwaukee are just plain awful to be honest. They are extremely tired from last night and it is really showing. Bogut hasnt come on since I said I'd count.

Is Ilyasova the worst player in the league?

He was the worst of the lot. Could barely move at times, really bricked a few free throws. They are a much better team than tonight's showing.

Good win by the Cavs today over Rockets. Hughes is fitting in pretty well at PG in the last couple of games (22, 6 ,7 today and 27, 5, 5 last game) but that leaves the question of what to do with Gibson when he is back. LeBron had 32 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.

I'd love to be able to watch this Sea @ NY game at the moment.

NY were down by 13 at qtr time and have been clawing back all game. Now down 2 and Seattle has about 8 fouls in this last qtr. 2 minutes left.
