I maintain we picked him because Jason Castagna beat us in the grand final

We were looking for a hard runner. The problem when you observe a fitness fanatic in the juniors, its hard to judge whether they are legitimately winning the ball through reading the play or their fitness is doing all the work. We rolled the dice. Unfortunately fitness players are found out at AFL level because it evens up and fitness is no longer the pure advantage it was. We lost. We are still losing.

McHenry has good endeavour and running capacity. He is an honest trier I guess. Just lacks the talent to take his game to the necessary level.
I hate how we justify a player being selected because they run or try hard.

Every time he gets near the ball, he is 99% of the time a hinderance.

Delist and delist now.

Its not Neds fault he's a spud who keeps getting selected.

Nicks should be sacked for this alone, pumping so many games into a player that will so obviously never make it.

Even Neds' family know he hasn't got it at AFL level.

Goodbye Ned. That was your last chance. Good luck with your fishing show but never play in the AFL ever again, you don't belong there.
