Not sure how he was in that job to begin with but also sad to see anyone fall on their sword this early in the season. Surely it's up to the senior coach to hire, fire and utilise assistants as he sees fit. If I was an Essendon supporter I'd want to hear from Worsfold about Neeld's responsibilities and how he plans to fill them.
