Negative Threads

There are far too many negative threads on our board after a few losses. If the club followed the advice on here there would be no coaching or admin senior staff left plus quite a few players gone. How about we place all these negative pieces of bs into one mega-thread and call it something like NEGATIVE NEALS AND NELLIES POST HERE. That way the perennially depressed types that inhabit our board along with the trolls from other clubs that infest us will have a home and the rest of us might get on with some rational debate about the club and where we are at present.

The negative threads are warranted. We dont drink the kool aid like a certain other club.
No1. Blind Freddy could see it coming. We get a guy from Brisbane who was in charge of fitness when Brisbane had an injury list from hell.
We now have an injury list from hell. Our season is screwed.

No2. Our coaching panel then play players not quite right fitness wise and make things worse.
No3. Our coaching staff think these loses are anomalies. We haven't addressed it. We get smashed and its not being addressed. The players will respond BS gets trotted out.

I don't mind negative analyses or spur of the moment melts. Though I believe everything needs to be in moderation. A bit of optimism can be good for the soul.

I used to think along these lines early in the piece as well. I was convinced Sanderson was a good coach. Many here opened my eyes to what he was really like. While there is currently a fair bit of negativity, much of it is warranted and most of it is a very good insight into problems that exist within the club. There's a reason why we haven't won a GF in 20 years. And we're seen as a successful club.

Tend to agree, but nobody is forcing you to read those threads.

There is positive content too, lots are excited about Fogarty, Doedee, feeling more optimistic about Milera. Think most still identify Pyke as a good coach.

End of the day, when we are winning there are lots of low effort positive posts, and when we are losing there are lots of low effort negative posts.

Make this board a better place by making a high effort thoughtful post/thread, and if what you find leads you to be positive then even better.

You should try reading (and then comprehending) some of the advice of the more astute posters on here, over the last several years.

If you want a list of the astute posters, I’m happy to provide one.

Then, have a look at how much of what they posted was bang on the money.

Alternatively, you can believe everything Brett Burton tells you. Up to you.
