Dingley, assuming I have details right, is a shit hole 30km from the city PAST Springvale. It’s like relocating us to Elizabeth North.

You would hope they have a good facility if building in a shit hole
Ha! We could have been renamed Adelaide Crows United and cross train with the soccer players.

It's looking really good. The one the Hawks are building at Dingley is going to be the big one. Two full size grounds, one smaller one and a soccer pitch.
Their budget is around the same at 100mil.
It's actually $15M more (the Kennedy centre Stage 1 budget is $113M as of beginning of last year.

Also not sure it includes the other 2 ovals yet, because they're in the master plan but not the description: 'Stage 1 incorporates an elite training & administration facility, including indoor training field, MCG-sized oval, and an AFLW Oval/Community Pavilion with grandstand seating. ...important work has also commenced regarding future stages as part of the club’s approved master plan for the 28-hectare site.'

And they're not mentioned here:

With the Torrensville Bowling Club now finished at their South Rd location, we will really start seeing the presence of our new HQ will have when driving past there.

All sounds pretty good.
i remember when there were rumours circulating last year that Burgess was leaving us.. and I thought then, there's no way he's going anywhere until these new, world class facilities are built and in play.

I'd say it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for him. You'd think even if he was thinking of leaving that opportunity would get him back invested.

Remember reading some time back that he was directly involved/consulted in the design of the high performance and rehab facilities

At a guess you'd think purely based on that he'd be invested in staying to see it through from concept to daily use

Hi, is anybody able to upload a few snaps of the new facility. I am based in Perth and have looked for updates to see progress but nothing doing. Google maps is months behind as well so even trying to get a birdseye view is no good.

Any photos would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is of someone having a picnic in Kings reserve :)

Lease area ended up looking like this, with the minimum area required for AFL funding for the 2nd oval (which I imagine will mainly be used for parking on event days).

Once the North-South tunnel works are done we gain a bit more land to the east, which will allow us to build a "Marvel Stadium" sized oval.

They can just take out those trees at the East Avenue end of the second oval, really isn't rocket science
