not a moment too soon with that one - you could see with the old set up if people weren't familiar with the intersection they could easily enter the wrong lane

Never heard of that, thought it was more the build up created on long weeks and the fact that people forgot to give way.

Pretty good actually. Very confused by the 'Crows Nest' area. What is it? Are they steps? Indoor grand stand styled seating?

Updated fly through was interesting. Any update on the second oval and whether we are going to have a training space with one of the ovals being the same dimensions as the MCG? I think it’s crucial but think we had to compromise it because of the nimbys . Is that right?

I thought that it was decided that the 2nd oval will only be small to begin with until after the South Road works are done. Then we make into a MArvel sized oval.

I always thought this was way way overdone. Ground size matters a little bit, sure, but not that much.

Surely they could find a similarly sized oval somewhere (Noarlunga?) if they wanted a few sessions.

Yes then they switched to Marvel size to cater for the NIMBYS

It's why GEEL win so many home games .....that shouldn't be the case, if ground size doesn't matter .....but it does

I would argue that Matty Clarke's style does not suit the Norwood oval and it's been an issue for a while.

Does anyone know if the bar is going to be a bistro area where main meals are served, or is it going to be like footy park cafe with a snack or something small.

There is a function room where meals and drinks are served. The Cafe is fir small meals/snacks

No idea. I would imagine it is for functions so wedding receptions, parties etc or anything that the club has booked. I dont know

Just looking again. There is a cafe and bar ground floor and function room on level one

The GF is also played at a cauldron with 100K people, it has little relevance to a training field.

Is the function room going to be open 7 days a week, or just match day?

I can only speak on ESS's Hangar .....but their main function area is reserved for staff only ....the cafe is very basic, and many training days, it's not even open .....not economical to run just for a coffee and cake

Put in a TAB and it might be....AFL doesnt have a problem with gambling obviously, pokies anyone?
