The AFL slicks have arrived for advertising!

I got my guys to put it up straight away to push those orders.....

How can one store receive them and not others, seems too good to be true?

They are just 'slickers'...whatever that is anyhow I would think that if he gets them today most stores will be at some point today or Monday the latest, its not the game itself so does it matter?

I would definitely think so. In terms of timeline an announcement within the next two weeks should be a reasonable assumption. Maybe even within the next ten days (End of January).

When you met up with Ross last year, did you get to play the game (AFL) or just see how it was progressing?

So Glenno you have the game cover for it? as soon as you see em tell us about it.

I don't think its the final boxart, as my guys told me it was pretty generic, covering all 3 console platforms. So i would assume its just advertising, as i would say the final boxart between the 360 and PS3 versions to differ from the Wii

We got enough slicks to put a display in 360, PS3 and Wii

I think it may be the same artwork as what was in the Xmas catalogue (it was posted here at somestage)

Ross has stated that i did see the game in action. I will leave it at that.

That's just a generic response as it is listed in their computers. It's their guess that it will come out in March, so they just put the first as the standard date.

Hate bursting bubbles but this slick is generated by EB and not Big Ant Studios/Tru Blu/HES/AFL - it's for marketing purposes.

The release date changing to 1st April is placeholder until they announce a real date.

PS: Glenno23 saw the PC version I play on my notebook in October, it's come a long way since then!
