omg its obviously a in game picture of the new afl game on the wii, you have to remember the wii doesnt enable very good graphics, especially because wicked witch made the game from scratch and most likley had a very low budget you cant expect the graphics to be all that good.

wait im actaully wrong it is from afl 2007 on ps2, josh fraser doesnt play for collingwood any more, but what eb are doing cant be legal .

It's not the Wii game I've seen that screenshot before...way before I even knew of a Wii game. I think Ross said those ads were made by EB not the actual company developing the game.

It's kinda sad how they have to use that image from AFL 2007....if people saw that they wouldn't consider buying anything.....looks decent for a PS1 game

ey knob head i just posted previously correcting myself saying that i was wrong , but the reason why i assumed that it was an actual wii screenshot at first, was because there has to be some sort of copyright or false advertising issue by them using that picture which is taken from another game and publisher and i thought eb was smart enough not to do something like that , thus thats why i thought it was an actually shot of the wii version.

Next time ill make sure i do a full analysis before i post

That's exactly what I was saying. Its my understanding that it may be correct for the wii version but not for Ps3, PC or xbox. And as the box advertises for all 4 consoles it is misleading and false advertising.

It is also my understanding that the promotional cover is put out by EB Games themselves and not Big Ant or the publishers.

EB need to sort it out and pull it from display or at least remove the othe three console names from the ad.

Will check out the art work when i get to work on Tuesday.

Really looking forward to this game, I hope it's harder then the last one, use to own teams by 20 goals on hard lol. Bring it on :thumbsu:

Is that screenshot of the Dome? I can see through the roof and behind the goals there are only 2 really small levels :eek:

Don't know if anyone knows or if the info can't be released untill the full press release but will the wii and the ps3,xbox360 and pc share some,none,majority or all the features as each other

Yes I did I ask because Ross had stated earlier in this thread that he has had a little to do with wicked witch and their wii development and that they had helped each other by giving each other constructive criticism and also by sharing ideas and I was wondering wether that involved sharing features which is why I asked the question I did and yes I know they are two separate games developed by two different companies

In that case EB are doing themselves a huge diservice to their stores and also to BigAnt, as most people who pick that 'mock up' from the shelf are looking for anything they can on the package as to what can be expected from the new game, and of course the assumption is that it's actual footage from the new game they are trying to get you to pre-order.
It also doesn't help that the article in question carries the logo of XBOX, PS3 and Wii, which also would lead many to assume the screenshot is from either the XBOX or PS3(the better graphic systems), as other games do with their pre-sell merch.

As soon as I picked it up I instantly thought "it looks shit", as did my missus.

I'd be pulling it off the shelves quick sticks if I was them.

The saving grace is that it looks so bad that people could never believe that it is current generation.

I am scrambling to work something out - this may well be the fastest way of pushing forward a new screenshot or the cover art :)
