Was wondering if you could post a list of which attributes are included, which help define a player?

Ex// Is there a Kick rating, mark rating, endurance rating etc.

Also what is it out of, /10, /100?

By the way thankyou for posting the snippet of the contest, its a really good sign to see Bryce Gibbs tackle across TJs chest this shows a "proper tackle" obviously you guys have put in and still are putting in a massive effort to make this game realistic. Straight away you recognise all of the players, which is great!

It would be great to see the team winning the nab cup or someone winning norm smith or something like that. It would be awesome to see the leading goalkickers and possession winners in a table format, they should also have player ratings in a game if they going good for example, if Judd at 3qt had most possessions and couple of goals and his ranking would be 1. And etc for rest of players.

Nah there is now a facebook group and other video game forums are running with information from Big Footy, users here are taking it out or randoms finding it by searching. From what I've searched on, most of them are crediting the source. Few others like this advert are taking advantage of this information.

Jeeeeeeez the conversation over there is worse than what we've been getting here the last few days. Although I now know why we've been getting it (would be nice if they would stop linking people and just update the info instead, stop the stragglers coming over for more braindead questions, I know that there should be credit but I reckon less braindead is better:thumbsu:).

It's a bit wrong though that there's people advertising by using the in-game snippets.

I just can't get how many overreact to wanting the game out. I'm not usually a patient person but my stance on this game is one of if it's out this year I'll be stoked if it's early 2011 then I'll still be stoked. I guess some people just don't realise that creating a game is a lot harder of a process than just going "here it is, play it now" and I just want the game to be at the stage where BigAnt can say "It is complete" and not have rushed it out for the deadline.

Meh, Facebook is always full of idiots. :) Couple of the video game forums that are watching this thread have been pretty balanced with their comments and are crediting the source.

I think there's just the issue that this could get too big for Ross/BigAnt and Tru Blue's liking. Ross stating that he's under strict guidelines for this (and that "BigFooty is the only place getting this info) and potentially having too much stuff get out a bit too wide could cause Tru Blue to put a stop to what Ross is doing and that would be tragic.

I just hope it doesn't get to that stage and can stay reasonably manageable...and keep the braindeads off.:D
 
Not me, but I understand where some users are going with this. Ross has been kind enough to share some pictures and info when its probably not in his best interest to do so. All this media can be linked out to several other nights now when BigFooty is apparently the 'lone source' of new AFL game info. I think, and I'm also guilty of this, that we are asking for too much instead of just patiently waiting for new media on the game to be released. Maybe if we tone it down we will gradually be shown more and more, ultimately until the release.

Only my 2 cents, not saying its right or wrong.

Hopefully the attributes are a bit more accurate than the last few AFL games. Some players seemed unjustly bumped in a few previous versions.

Yeah, but it is interesting to see how far the images have spread, and the often out of context the reaction to them.

I've been reading the FB pages for a while, one of the reasons I came on here is that while I might get some trolls on here, it's not going to be anything like FB!

In any case, I am going to need to be more careful about what I post here as it is unfortunately being misrepresented.

Only had a couple of troll accounts so far, however they've been booted, trying to keep this discussion constructive.

As per wording and taking things out of context, happy to clean up the FAQ if there is anything that could be misconstrued.

Hmm... a good suggestion on one of them websites. Hopefully, we will see them in the future version's of the game. (No chance of seeing them in the current version.)

Hey I was browsing youtube, and I found a video of these two guys playing 'AFL Live 2004', and a wierd little glitch happens at around the 2 minute mark lol, they all just decide to gain 50kg, haha, this happend to me a couple times when I played this game, the first time it happened I was playing my older brother ben and we were like what the hell hes Huge!, take a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BzK5TmUDgQ&feature=related
 
If you have put a pic of a carlton player a collingwood player & u are gonna put one of hawthorn what about essendon?

anyway i like the picture u showed us it looks good.

hope at the start of the game they run out from the banner & what about my player mode were u have to start of in training camp then u get drafted to random a team kinda like madden.
