New Bats??

Anyone bought a new bat already this year?? If so any good??

Unfortunately this year I dont think I have the funds to buy a new one.

I bought a Gray Nic Matrix last year for Christmas. It's pretty good, but I've been too lazy to completely knock it in.

i bought a 2nd hand MRF FRONTIER..

got cracks in it which now make me shit my pants when i use it

I can't say I've ever heard many good things about any Indian bats.

Bought a Gray Nic's Fusion last year.

Am really happy with it and the tree trunk style bat really suits my game.

Problems: couldnt be arsed with extensive knocking in as i was so eager to use it so i have a bit of cracking up the inside edge.

while the carbon fibre handle does have its benefits (lighter, stronger, less bend) it does make a crap sound occaisionally and if you dont have a high grip (ie. ur top hand is on the shock absorber) it sounds horrible

But overall for its wieght its a very big and nice bat

I am going to sand it back and add extra-tech before this season. its too much effort to have a natural face what with constant cracking, sanding and oiling

With a bat like that I would knock it in for 2 months. Very nice bat
