Agree. Looks great.
Hope we wear black shorts with it as well. The days of balck shorts being for the home team is an anachronism. The colour of the shorts should be whetever helps minimise the clash.

As a one off I'm ok with that. It's not really fair to make the Roos wear that ugly argentina style top, but we also shouldn't be expected to wear anything other than black and white stripes.
But I wouldn't want to be wearing that one more than once or twice a year.

Realistically its only once every two years. North is the only "light" coloured team we clash with so its only away games against them.

The other solution is for North is to stop sucking up to Collingwood and play away games only? no they need the money so Collingwood should wear what ever they dam well like!

I have no problem with it.
After all, the only difference between that and our home jumper is one white stripe.
And as if it matters, we could play nude on Saturday and still win by 10 goals.

I have no problem with it.

Can't argue with that. We have managed to keep the integrity of the guernsey really well. If we gear towards more black and Kangas towards more white it should put to bed the annual argument over clash strips.

I actually never saw the point in us not having a clash jumper, it always seemed like petulant stubbornness. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I have always wanted a good clash jumper, something new and interesting, and I really dig this one.

I still don't see how our normal jumper clashes with their normal jumper, ours is predominantly black (even more so this year) and theirs predominantly white.
It's even less of an issue when we wear black shorts and them white, regardless i am happy that we don't have to put up with welfare club pissing and moaning about not being able to wear their strip.

There was never a clash with our black base and the north white base except in the mind of the AFL, so there was never a need for an alternate dark strip (beggars belief why a side with a dark strip needs an alternate dark strip anyway)
We have one that is the direct alternate of our normal jumper, which we wear against Essendon, Carlton, St.Kilda who all have jumpers with black (or in the case of Carlton very dark blue) base and it works perfectly.

Yeah, always understood that, I just don't see why we couldn't just make a clash jumper regardless to cease any lingering doubt. Now the Welfare Roos can stop worrying about clashing with us and focus on getting some coins in the coffers

Apparently Graham Cornes was scathing in his thoughts on the strip, he then high fived Neil Kerley and they giggled together for five minutes about how badly he had owned us.

i just spoke with Cornsey and Rowey about it saying there is no clash now even though there wasnt one anyways and they said flat out its the same guernsey, black and white stripes. What the fk is wrong with these people? if you cant tell the difference between those guernseys then you need your eyes checked.
