hard to differentiate between updates and posts. getting used to it a bit. but i still posted a wall post to my update status part. i think its just trying to be more like twitter because apparently that is becoming popular?

I added my whole msn contact list and it came up with 3 people who I have but I've never spoken too.

So it must be real popular in the US because I asked around and no-one seems to be on it.

I agree that it gets a bit annoying when people use it to commentate on every little thing they do. I update my status at most once a day, and I never write about any of that stuff.

Not a fan of all this self-indulgent status crap. I prefered the old news feed with only 3 irrelevant status updates at the top & the rest being semi-interesting stuff like photos, wall-to-wall etc, and then seperate tabs for status' and live feed.

Also, they've still got links for photos, notes, events etc, but does anyone know how get the old groups link back??

I was skeptical as what it would do (thought the username would replace your real name)

But the fact it's giving you a recognizable url (one of the only good features of myspace); is brilliant.
