Not once have I EVER heard ANYONE knock James Hird's footballing ability!

The number of times that he gets to the right position to receive the ball is ridiculous. It is almost as if he can see a few seconds into the future. His ability to know where the goals are, regardless of where he is positioned, is amazing.

I remember all those games and they are all awesome. The preliminary final against Freo is the game where he kicks a goal from about 60m and it bounces at right angles. I think it is also the game where he handballs over his head to Lloydy in the square. All class.
