It’s the Punter / North / Kooka link. They’ve been playing it up on socials. Also Kookaburra are manufacturing footys now with their own leather and are trying to mount a challenge to Sherrin and Burley. They are already being used in all the junior Rookie Me academies so they’re just trying to get the brand out there.
Why would they want to challenge Burley when it’s part of the same brand?

This is probably just a me thing but who ever made that announcement pic should have photoshopped the nike swoosh out of Sheezels boots. For most sponsorship announcements it doesn’t matter but when it comes to an apparel sponsorship, I don’t think it’s quite on. Nike such a big brand and that big swoosh was one if the first things my eyes were drawn to.
I agree with you 100%. I can’t think of too many examples of a professional sporting club not being more strategic with their placement or their usage.

Okay, kookaburra / burley don’t make football boots, but as you say, the exist in the same apparel space, yet I see both ASICS and Nike.

Either use generic footwear, photoshop out the label or better yet, change the shot and don’t feature it.

Really really weird stuff.

Do you mean tiny changes to their current clash uniforms?

This list is misleading.

Sponsors, collars etc isn't changing your clash

West Coast have had same clash since 2018.
And I hope it doesn't change.

Collingwood would be even longer.

Richmond have affectively been using the same design since 2017

How is it at all misleading? They are changes. Collingwood also had changes to their stripes.

Think they’re signed to at least the end of next year
They are still up on the aflw side last time I checked, so I wonder is aflw will continue and afl will have a new partner. Would be out of the ordinary to remove a continuing sponsor if they are just changing the fujitsu brand they are using

that might be a typo

because according to this artical the resgining happened in september 2021 and mentions the 4 seasons as 2022-2025

Na that makes sense, if it is 22-25 inclusive, that's 4 seasons

yeah and it also says it takes the deal to 12 seasons and 2014 was the first year of Fujitsu so, 2014 - 2025 also makes 12
Its a bit of a strange one. im not sure why they would remove the logo unless the deal with the company as a whole is no mor

They did get bought out and are going to be going by general now and not Fujitsu. they are still listed at aflw major sponsor so might have renegotiated to just be aflw before moving on.
