I wouldn't say SOS bent the rules, but he certainly worked them until they squeaked. His embrace of live-trading is an object lesson to the entire competition.

Will be very interesting to see who we appoint here.

Given the innovation he showed and the success he had, you’d think any replacement for SOS would want to hit the ground running.

I wonder if we’ll look for a Head of Football though instead of a List Manager.

We’ve already got an experienced list manager at the club who has worked in that space for over a decade.

Edit: I should say who I think we’ll go with - David Walls. Past relationships matter and he has been a rumoured addition for a while now.

The point was he’s also very experienced in the position of list manager.

Wouldn’t surprise if he moves into that role and we add another Head of Football.

I suggest someone who has never played for Carlton before. Then we can sharpen our axe if necessary, without emotion.
